Sydney Voted As World's Best City By Travel + Leisure Readers For 8th Straight Year

Sydney won for best city, and Bali won for best island destination. No Canadian cities made the World's Best list but 4 Canadian cities did make the top 10 for North America; [5] Vancouver, [7] Quebec City, [8] Montreal, [9] Victoria.

Sydney is Australia's oldest city, and Qantas is the world's second oldest airline behind only KLM. Qantas is often referred to as the world's safest airline, and rightfully so. To put it bluntly, nobody has ever been killed on a Qantas flight in the jet-era, period. Not a bad track record to clip your wings to.
