King Tut comes to Atlanta
If you missed the Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs exhibit that traveled around the United States between June 2005 through August 2008, an encore tour offers another chance.
Tutankhamun: The Golden King and the Great Pharaohs opened yesterday in Atlanta, Georgia, featuring more than 130 ancient Egyptian treasures -- including artifacts from the tomb of the pharaoh and other ancient sites representing 2,000 years of ancient Egyptian history. Many of the aritifacts on display have never been seen in the United States.
The exhibit runs through May 25, 2009. To get special VIP access to the show outside of normal hours, check out one of the packages available from Marriott hotels in Atlanta.
