Get a kickback from Expedia

expedia_185x50.gifIf you think you'll need a getaway early in the new year to recover from the holidays you'll want to check out Expedia's Holiday Kickback.

Travelers booking and flying round-trip within the U.S. prior to January 3, 2009 will qualify for a $200 coupon to use on a flight and hotel stay of five or more nights between January 3, 2009 and March 30, 2009. You can book travel all the way up to March 24, 2009. Expedia will send you an email to let you know when the $200 is deposited in your Expedia account, and if you somehow forget you've got the kickback waiting, they'll remind you when it's near expiration.

With the $200 coupon, some pretty good deals can be had - especially considering January-March can be among the least expensive months to travel anyway. Some of the packages you can use the coupon on are:

Flight + five nights in the Waikiki Marina Resort in Honolulu, starting from $490 per person
Flight + five nights in the Paradise Island Harbor Resort All Inclusive in the Bahamas (Nassau), starting from $734 per person
Flight + five nights in the Wyndham Orlando Resort, starting from $515 per person
